Every great once in a while, in the moments once I get home; PRIOR to making dinner, cleaning, relaxing, or whatever else tries to attch itself to my time, I make my iPod decide on my playlist. You know, that convenient 'shuffle' feature that reminds you of both the great music you have on your, well let's call it 'the precious' shall we, or it kicks you in the gut reminding you how much you need to delete some of your old songs.
Then one day you get home and give 'the precious' the opportunity to take another shot. So you grab a quick smoke (of what flavor you decide-I know what I chose...believe me, it will make the playlist a bit better! or how about a great scotch or four!) and select 'shuffle'.
Here's what I got today and though I am truly not a big fan of a couple of these songs/artists, they are on 'the precious' and I took the gamble.
Love Train - We Are Stranded
Better Luck- Scissor Sisters
Nothing Even Matters - Lauryn Hill
Give Me Life - Daniel Powter
Always Been You Girl - Heather Hendley
Taxi Ride Kinda Night - Michael Tolcher
Center Stage - Indigo Girls
The Chokin Kind - Joss Stone
Bowtie - Outkast
Dirty Mother for You - Roosevelt Sykes
Hannah - Ray LaMontagne
Little Bird - Annie Lenox
Cool-off - Yeng Costantino
I Want You - Rachael Yamagata
Now, I wont make any further comments on what I liked and didnt like about this, but am willing to take your votes and comments. Did 'the precious' pass, fail, or give it another chance later?
Either way...time well spent...I've enjoyed it!
